Prof. Passandideh Fard's research includes multiphase flows and the simulation of various phenomena in this field. Using the Volume-of-Fluid Method (VOF) as a surface tracking technique in combination with heat transfer, he has modeled and simulated several interesting phenomena including droplet impacts and solidification, atomization and spray, bubble dynamics, etc. More detailed descriptions of his research are listed below.
